Response to SyncroRMM backup

Several partners have been private messaging me regarding Syncro releasing their backup solution next week.

Here is my official response:

During the last three months since Syncro announced their backup platform, we have and will continue taking the high road as their team continues to take many “potshots” at my company and my staff.

We have nothing but the utmost respect for Syncro, and they have an amazing RMM platform which is why our team and our partners have worked hard to create scripts to integrate Magnus Box into Syncro. We will continue to develop scripts and support SyncroRMM.

The only thing that I would like to add is to remember that a fully integrated solution is not always the best solution. Also, don’t forget to remember past products that a company offered. Sometimes, that is an indication of the future. For those who remember Magnus Box before I took ownership in 2018, you know all too well what I am talking about.

Magnus Box’s number one focus will always be backup. We have had many opportunities to branch off and offer additional services. However, I felt that this would take away from our core offering and only cause our partners to suffer. “You Don’t Need To Be Good At Many Things, You Need To Be Great At One.”

Magnus Box will continue to be a fully transparent backup solution whose only focus is to “Protect your client’s data from disaster.”
