Upcoming Changes to Our Billing System at Magnus Box: Transitioning to Stripe

Hello, Magnus Box community!

This is Mike, the founder and owner of Magnus Box, and today, I’m reaching out to share some important updates regarding our billing and payment system.

As part of our constant mission to improve your experience with Magnus Box, we have taken the strategic decision to transition away from our current billing and payment provider, ConnectBooster, and shift to Stripe, an esteemed global platform for payment processing. This significant change will take effect on September 1st, 2023.

The Why:

You might be wondering why we are making this transition. Since the acquisition of ConnectBooster by Kaseya, we have been experiencing ongoing issues with the system. One of the significant problems that has caused much concern is a glitch that prevents us from processing non-US payments effectively.

As a global business that values all our partners, regardless of where they’re based, this issue has posed a serious challenge. After an exhaustive review of the situation and possible solutions, we decided that it would be in everyone’s best interest to switch to Stripe.

Why Stripe?

Stripe is renowned for its user-friendly interface, robust security, and efficient payment processing, including seamless international transactions. It’s flexibility and customer-focused features will allow us to offer you a more streamlined and dependable billing process.

What this means for you:

With this change, you will need to re-enter your payment information within the new system. We understand that this might seem inconvenient, but it is a necessary one-time step. Stripe’s stringent data protection standards mean that your sensitive information will be securely stored.

Over the next few weeks, we will be sending out an email with step-by-step instructions on how to input your payment information into our new billing portal. We encourage you to follow these instructions promptly to prevent any disruptions in your Magnus Box service.
